Well!
Today I hosted an awsome open house at 158 Acacia in Rockcliffe Park, a neighbourhood in Ottawa, ON. There was great turn-out as over 15 couples and famillies came through.
The house has been vacant for a while and I needed to clear snow off the walk, but the response was fantastic! Everyone was kind enough to fill out a survey so we got lots of great feedback. During these troubled economic times it is suprising how resiliant the Ottawa Real Estate market has proven to be. In 2008 the everage price of resale homes went up 6.3%! In most areas of North America prices fell. Many atribute the stable Ottawa Market to the large public service population here. Ottawa is the capitol of Canada and is home to many federal employees.
